Great little spot on the Murray with a fire pit.

We always stay here.Clean toilets ,BBQ area nice green grass

Only 5 spots. It's on a park so good for walking dog. Toilets. No water. The road noise is chronic, so sleep was near impossible, big semis and air brakes. Plus then a big motor home was reversing into my spot. No... I stood behind their van and had words with her that no I didn't 'own' the spot as she kept telling me but yes I paid for it. So move on. I like to open my vans door, have my dog outside . They squeezed in onto someone elses spot ( there was 2 vacant spots). So ordeal kinda soured my stay. Noise and 'the entitled ' left super early to go to the riverfront which is lovely.

Having lived in Berry for 52 years, I remember how it used to be in the beginning. The facilities there now are great.

A free, 72 hour rest area for self-contained vehicles a few km outside of Renmark with a gravel/dirt, flat camping area and some facilities. Time and Cost: Free camp (72 hours). Access: Directly off Sturt Highway 5-6 km out of Renmark. Facilities: flat gravel/dirt camping areas with adjacent shaded and grassed park. Toilet block, BBQ facilites and bin available. Ambiance: Nice setting let down by persistent road noise. This is really only suitable for an overnight stay due to the persistent road noise despite the pleasant setting and facilites.
