Took a quick day trip just to visit as we'd never been here before. Park wasn't busy at all today imagine it would be on a normal day. Staff was super friendly. Did not hit any trails, just was taking a quick look around but really enjoyed it.
This is a four only because there is no water at sites or sewers dump at sites. Sites are really nice gravel level, with electric. Tucked deep into the oak trees this camp ground is noise free and dark at night. No cellular serviced satellite would be useless bcz of the trees. Lots of fabulous walking trails, feel daring take the trail to fire watch tower and climb to top,the view is like No other!
We camped here for the first time last weekend (September 12-14) it is a great little park! We loved climbing the fire tower. Bathhouse was very nice, clean, good water pressure, and nice hot water. The parks were a big hit with the kids. My only complaint would be the dump station set up it can get a bit crazy with the 2 way traffic when it's really busy. But all in all a great experience!
Lots of cool fauna to look at. Wide hiking trails. Nice, large camping sites. Some of the restrooms have been remolded. Friendly staff.
First time at this beautiful Tippecanoe River State Park and campground and a lot of trails to hike and river to go swimming afterwards. So much fun we had and will be back next time. The lady was so sweet and very helpful.
