I dare you to find a spot WITHOUT shade! This the quietest and prettiest campground we stayed at in Minnesota. Sites are electric only so be sure to have water on board and empty black/gray tanks (dump using park). DONOT attempt going down Crown Ave from Hwy 14 (its a narrow dirt road with low clearance)! Instead, follow sign to the museum, turn right, then turn left on Crown Ave. Amenities are in Tracy, about 10min away. Enjoy!

Clean bathroom's, grass cut, and green! We had a Cabin during the week! Only cabin of 6 rented ! Very quite during the week! Bring your own entertainment! There's nothing for miles, the way we like it!

Great campground! We stay here two nights so we could attend the Laura ingalls Wilder pageant. The staff were very friendly and the campground was well maintained. There was fun things to do at the campground and lots of amazing things to do in town as it was the big weekend celebration, July 18, 19, 20th. 2025 We stayed in our RV and we would definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful park! They do have seasonals but they are very well manicured and newer RV’s only. The park ranger drives thru, throughout the day, which is nice. We needed a bit of tree trimming as we have a very high profile RV. The maintenance staff were there in about 20 minutes to carefully and cleanly take a few branches down that are hitting our trailer. Laura Lake was really nice did kayaking and canoeing. There are trails to walk inside the park. We were there for the Laura Ingalls Wilder museum which was only a few minutes away. I would highly recommend this beautiful park for a day or several days. Google alert: if you follow google going east on 14, it will try to have you turn right on a dirt road, Crown Ave. DO NOT TURN HERE! It is not a good road and has a low clearance train trestle at the other end. Continue into Walnut Grove, just down the road a bit. Then turn right onto 20, then left on Crown Ave(paved here). Enjoy!

We stayed at this campground due to its close proximity to the Laura Ingalls Wilder museum. The campground is peaceful (even when it’s at capacity) and very well kept. The non-seasonal sites are electric only (30-50 amp) but there’s water, a dump station and a very clean bath house available on site. You’re in a county park with amenities that include a swimming lake, a walking path, playgrounds and nine basket disc golf course. Our site was level and had a spectacular view. We really enjoyed our stay here.
