'Friendly' apparently. Stopped here to get fuel and was flat out getting two words out of the bloke. I was the only customer there? Very rude. Definitely won't be staying here. Well done mate.
Great convenient store that also serves as reception , very handy as you don’t need to go into town for groceries. The park is self-sustained with fuel and gas available. The camper van sites are spacious, giving good privacy. Loved the fishing ramp and the stunning sundown view there. The caravan park is easy to access, with nearby attractions like Iluka lookout within reach. We even spotted a kangaroo on the property! Perfect for those who enjoy peace and quiet. Highly recommend this park for any camper/caravan traveler ....
We just stayed for 4 nights here. Talk about value for money. Wow what a caravan park. Not huge which is great. Clean, neat and tidy. We were there off peak and it was nice and quiet. I’m so glad I found this park. Close to beaches and tourist towns but far enough away to sit and unwind. Massive slopped off leash area for the dogs to run and ware themselves out. 10/10 recommend!!
One of the best parks I have stayed at. We’ll laid out, neat & tidy with everything you need from pizzas, burgers, fuel, general store & bottle shop. It’s right on the river were you can hire canoes or go fishing. Very friendly staff who can’t do enough for you. I will certainly be returning for an extended stay.
$55 per night, powered, mesh on grass. Pleasant view from low plateau over river across cane fields to distant hills. You can walk down to a little river Jetty and hire canoe from reception if inclined. Spotted a few roos down there. The site is laid out along long parallel roads, the half near reception appears to be parmenants and cabins. The pool, play area and laundry are roughly in the middle, along with toilets and showers. Amenities felt nostalgic, reminded me of a visit to Eastern Europe in Soviet era in 80s. They are very clean though. The second half of the camp is mainly powered sites. At the very far end is a single BBQ hut, there is no camp kitchen. It's about 250 paces from end site to toilet if that's an issue to anyone. Probably want to ask for one of the closer sites. Theres also no wifi (or it didn't reach the far end of grounds). In these respects its pricey for the very basics. On the other hand reception doubles as a general store, servo, bottle shop and takeaway which might be exactly what you're looking for. There's not much around Bimbimbi, though enjoyed wandering around Iluka a wee bit further down the road on the way down a few weeks ago, and a cheaper park with kitchen and wifi if that's your preference.
