We were so so close! Only 12 mins more to go to War Falls and we gave up. The snow was too deep and there’s no way we wanted to slide over the edge. We will return in a couple more weeks!
Amazing campground, clean, great views and great site hosts. Will be back and would recommend.
Island camping is great! Great bow fishing. Big (and small) burbot, good times. You don't have to island camp in a tent to get out here #whitesprucesouth
This is a beautiful park. Approximately 30 minutes in from hwy 97 North. A beautiful hike into War Falls. War campground has about 12 sites right on the lake with 2 pit toilets and a boat launch. Carp Lake campground is much bigger and provides a cement boat launch , playground and hiking trails. The sites here are above the lake but the ones to the left of the boat launch have some very nice views. We hiked the beach trail which was amazing. About 100 steps to climb back up. Lol
A great lake and park. TONS to explore. Great for paddling. Stayed out on Spirea Island for two nights, the tent pages were great, the site clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend booking an island for a weekend fishing trip. The rainbows are plentiful.
