Seedy and not very safe in my honest opinion. Unsavory characters all over ! Bathrooms couldn't be much worse
We loved this campground!!!! The ladies in the office were very nice and so were the other campers. We have 5 children with us and everyone seemed to be so understanding of that! We were there for Christmas, they had a very cute golf cart parade where they gave all the kids in the campground very thoughtful gifts! The playground has fencing around it and is plenty big enough! The walking trail was really neat to utilize. The laundry area was clean and had plenty of machines. Very affordable!
The campground itself is very nice, has a lot of water front lots but also interior lots with canopies of trees. Lots to do within the park. Cons are the city of belle glade doesn’t have much of anything. You have to go 24 miles to Clewiston for Walmart and thing’s of that nature. Nothing to do outside the campground. VERY Rural area.
Terrible customer service by the manager by the name of Cindy! Tried to make a reservation and she was very rude! Computer system is out date and she would not take new address and was very condescending! We have full timed for 5 years and have never dealt with someone like her! Would never stay there as long as she is employed there.
My Family and I stayed a month this time. The park is great. Shower/restroom facilities were above average. There is no accounting for the lack of concern of some people no matter how nice you try to keep the facilities. At least, give this place a try. I promise you that most people, by far, will go way out of their way to come back here again. I went from 1 week last year, to 1 month this year, and am slated for 2 months next year. Look at the website and google earth and look at the endless outdoor activities that are available to you. I have camped all my life and I guarantee that you have never seen a place like this. Every time you turn around, they are feeding you again at no cost to you. Happy camping!
