I was pleased with the location, and the help I got from staff. It was beautiful, but crowded with year round campers. Most were empty, there was absolute silence at night. School is in right now, I imagine it’s mostly retirees on site. I stayed in a cabin, no issues there except you can easily see through the curtains when one side is well lit. You can’t slip your bags under the bed, and there’s no shelving, so storage is going to be in your car. The bed was comfortable, and it was quiet. The price for a cabin with a bathroom (no shower) is $130. I think I’d prefer a hotel with a comparable price point. With kids, the campground with a pool and activities would make for an amazing trip.
This is a quiet, clean, natural campsite in the forest. The various facilities for children were great. It is amazing that there is a place like this right next to the highway and downtown Bridgewater. The staff were friendly and helpful. I won't forget the fire pit and the sound of wind with my family.
I really like this campground. We went over their Christmas themed weekend, this passed weekend and it was great! They had lots of activities for kids. I have to say, everything was so clean, especially the bathrooms. There were people often going to clean the bathrooms and I was super impressed by how much care they put into their campground! I would absolutely go again, it was a great experience!
I stayed here from June 17, 2023 for 4 nights. It was a gem in the woods, quiet, cozy, and clean. Some seasonal tenants stay here enjoying the good facilities during the summer. They were their summer homes. We didn’t have kids with us but we saw kids were enjoying the playground and pool which were nice and clean. The location was perfect. The beautiful Lunenburg was just about 15 minutes away by car. The staff was friendly, kind and helpful. Very nice people. I would definitely come back to this campground if we travel to this area.
This campground is great for everyone. We live local, however my grandparents in their late 70’s made the trip down and stayed here over night for almost a week. Their camp site was easy for them to pull in and out of. They had only great things to say about the owners and their experience. While visiting I had noticed in all occasions the campground was clean, litter free, friendly, and well equipped. Our 3 year old, 5 year old and 6 year old loved the playground! Thank you for a great stay!
