Right on little Bay DeNoc. Cabins are dated but CLEAN. There is a boat launch you can use. They have rustic camping as well as full hook ups. The price is pretty reasonable overall. Yvonne and her husband are amazing people. It’s close to rapid River and there is a lovely restaurant to stop in at called Jacks. I’ll review that by itself. Plus you are close to Escanaba for shopping. Not far from the bay de noc trail head for snowmobiling and SxS riding. You can also hit the two-tracks right across the road if you have maps or an onboard app like OnX or RideCommand. I highly recommend checking them out.

I stayed here 20 years ago and it is exactly the same today! The bluff like hills leading into the trail to the office are just the start of the stunning experience and beauty you will experience here. The same VCR and tapes are still there after 20 years. It is like stepping into a time capsule into yesteryear. The staff is amazing. She made sure we were comfortable, had supplies, had great suggestions for food and things to do if not fishing. The kitchen is modern and all amenities are there for you to use. A great place I can’t compliment enough. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay! Our host (Yavonne) was more than helpful and accommodating during our stay and answered any questions we had promptly and kindly. The cabin was comfortable and clean and a nice little home away from home to return to after fishing all day. We enjoyed pre bought meals and bought our bait right in the office. 10 out of 5 stars for us!! Will most definitely be returning.

Yvonne and Kenny went above and beyond to make our mother and daughter ice fishing trips fun, safe, and memorable. Our cabin was very clean, comfortable and welcoming. Communication was prompt and clear. Prices no was very fair and reasonable. I have nothing but good things to say about vagabond. We are already planning our next stay and intend to make this place at least a twice a twice a year family tradition.

These little cabins on the lake are absolutely charming. My partner and I have stayed three times now and it has been a great experience. The owners take care of the property very well and make sure your stay is exceptionally comfortable. :)
