Nice and convenient place to dump. Wish there were more of these dump stations.
Wanted to use this facility before we dispersed camped for a few days. Gate was closed and locked. Talked to some locals that said they rarely see it open so might make other plans.
Used this dump station during our trip to the Bighorns in July. Very convenient. Had water too. Lines get long on Sundays so we went on Monday and there was no waiting. There's no attendant but it's clean. Pay by donation. Keeping this wonderful service depends on us users giving a donation and cleaning up after ourselves. Thank you to the NF and to the campers who did their part.
Has a dump, non-portable water, and potable water in each of the four lanes. Pull in and pull out Right off the side of the highway, just like a rest stop. Easy and convenient. I wish there were more of these!
So we camped in one of the forest service sites up West Ten Sleep Creek and on the way out we were looking for any kind of dump station so that we did not have to carry the extra weight in our tanks. Lo and behold someone else had already thought of this for us and put the dump station in the perfect place! It was an easy pull through with several lanes. It worked perfect for our needs.
