Mena Creekside RV Park

If you have kids that want to swim in the swimming hole, that’s a plus. Otherwise, it’s basically an open field with eight spaces. For the money, you get tranquility, but nothing else. The older man meeting us at arrival, questions us about where we’ve been and where we’re from and looks in your vehicle. I didn’t get a friendly feel when we said “we’re from Houston”. Far off the beaten path but we just needed an overnight. Really unlike anything I’ve ever experienced at an RV park. Then he stated he doesn’t like loud partying!! At almost dark, he rides his mule up the hill, from a road on the property and looks over to check our campsite…we were in bed. He makes a U-turn at the creek and goes back? 😆 Really, the whole thing was strange. We are RETIRED!! Only people there!!

What a peaceful and beautiful stay! The grounds are spotless, the setting is serene, and the tree-lined drive into the park is simply breathtaking. The park overlooks a crystal-clear creek that adds to the charm. Tommy and Marsha Payne are outstanding hosts—warm, welcoming, and attentive. We'll see you again soon, Tommy! My husband Joe and I chose this site randomly, looking for beautiful scenery near a river or creek. And that is exactly what we got. Mena Creekside RV Campsite was quiet and so beautiful! Our site was nestled under gorgeous pine trees and the path down to the creek could be walked as well as driven. The rv pads were built up and even and the fire rings that came with each site were top quality and each had a grill that fit across them; we roasted corn and hamburgers one night using it. We will be returning, hopefully in the fall to see the foliage.

This is a very nice quiet park. We enjoyed our stay and when we return to Mena we plan to stay here again. There is a very beautiful swimming area next to the park if you like swimming. It was close enough to Wolfpen Gap we rode our side by side and did not have to trailer it.

Mena Creekside RV Park had been a wonderful place for our family to spend a couple relaxing nights, the kids have loved the swimming hole that is accommodated with the park. Very peaceful and relaxing area with a beautiful view, and amazing owners that care about their guests. Tommy is an extremely nice man that actually visits with his guests, and interacts as a friend. Tommy even took the time to take our little family around on his ATV for some off road sighting of their beautiful area. We recommend this hidden gem. We will most definitely be back.
