Very peacful, the ocean is so clear, lots of marine life. Drop box very clean and no smell.
Like all the Cape Range National park camp sites north of Yardie Creek, great place to camp with easy access to the camp sites and the reef. Each of the camps in the Cape Rage National park has its own uniqueness, being its location, the access to the reef, if you can see the ocean from the camp and of course the camp layout, but in saying that all are well worth staying at. We found Tulki beach to so special, from the well maintained camp, to the fantastic view of the ocean to the wonderful camp hosts (Colin & Loraine) When you arrive at your site the first thing you will notice is it’s been raked, which just adds a lovely touch. Access is easy, sites are well located, some with direct ocean views. The hosts are very welcoming and able to provide a lot of information about the area. The beach is easy to access either by walking along the dry creek bed or along a sandy path, both are natural entry’s to the beach. On our visit there was the added extra of a Osprey nest with the parents and 3 young birds either in it or close by. The beach it’s self is either sandy or rocky depending on which direction you go & full of character. There is quite a bit of sea grass in the area and that attracts the turtles. The actual reef is a little way out, but if you have a paddle board or kayak it is a very rewarding paddle. If you just choose to enjoy the waters near the shores you will also be rewarded, by the views of the surf pounding on the reef, or perhaps a passing whale or the sight of a turtle popping up or just the wonderful relaxing feel of the water. The sunsets are stunning, the host sit out the front at 5 for a chat with those who want to join them & you learn a lot from them & other guests as you watch the sun slowly set. We really enjoyed our stay at Tulki Beach Campground, as I am sure you will.
Beautifully maintained and a credit to the camp hosts. Wonderful beach access, we absolutely loved our stay here. Bookings essential.
Beautiful spot to camp. Only 11 sites so very private. Short walk to beach. Protected by Sand dunes.
Beach is at 100m, only 11 spots on the campground so not busy. Fishing is allowed only 250m north. Can get windy, there's no protection at all, check weather forecast if travelling with rooftop tent. Perfect for RVs. Toilet clean, good job by the volunteers
