Rest Area - Saint Francis City Park

Free to camp without electricity. $25 to camp with electric. Water available. Showers and flush toilets available but no stall doors or showers curtains....? I was here September 10....flies were an issue. But a good free stop overnight.

Awesome campsite with electric. Park grounds are some of the best I have ever seen!

Very nice, free campground, unless you need electric then it is $30 a night. You are allowed to stay three nights. The road was paved, but a little crumbly now the sites are gravel, there is water Spicket throughout. The sites are not numbered, but I estimate there are 7 to 10 sites but it looks like people have camped on the grass as well. They have nice picnic pavilions, disc golf course, big shade trees, restrooms, and showers. They also have a tornado shelter. There is a band shelter near there that is on the historical register, they also have a county museum and a motorcycle museum in town.

Great place to stay! We pulled in the middle night, put up our tent, slept great!! Hot shower in the morning. And it was free 🫶 Highly recommended

A wonderful place to spend the night. I slept in my Subaru, so I was not charged anything. There's a Mexican restaurant within walking 🚶‍♂️ distance. It was quiet, except for the cheerful sound of a rooster 🐓 the next morning 🌄.
