Beautiful lakeside park. It needs more signs. I wasn't sure if I was on the correct side since the GPS kept telling me I passed it. I don't live there so I was unsure if you could fish or if I could walk my dog. The handicapped parking spot didn't look easy to push a wheelchair.
Such a nice playground to stop at on our way through town!
We have always loved this park. This is a halfway point for us when we are headed to see family. Both sides of the bridge are a great place for the kids to walk around and explore. Restrooms have always been open and there are shaded structures for picnic. Lots of rocks for the kids to climb on even an area where you can go down and fish. Very easy for large vehicles to get in and out.
Nice park located next to Llano downtown and has a small waterfall next to the park. You can see the scenic views in the park during late evening and is mesmerizing. Has ample parking space with wheelchair accessible parking. A short trail along with playground is available within the park.
Beautiful day in March 2023 to walk through this gorgeous park. The trail itself is an easy walk along the river, very short (1/2 mile). If you decide to walk the granite rock towards the bridge, it can be difficult if you have bad ankles or bad knees. There is a bathroom if you need it. This time of year is not that crowded, unlike the summer months. Gorgeous Bluebonnets was a sight to see, and the fragrance was phenomenal.
