Wood Bottom Campground

Only two miles off pavement. Clean Pit toilet . Right next to the river. Great spot saw. Deer, pheasants and fishermen!!! Stop at decision point good reader boards and short hike.

Road is currently impassable to cars due to flooding/mud 😔 so we were unable to make it up in our AWD SUV. A truck could probably do it.

Absolute beauty! 3 sites with fire ring, pit toilet, boat launch. However, do not follow google maps directions as they put you up on the bluff in a farmers land instead of at the rivers side campground. Luckily, we dropped the trailer at a pull-off before climbing the hills with the truck to investigate. BEST route is enter from 87 to Loma Bridge Road, drive about 2 miles and just before the bridge, turn right and take the road around to the campsite area (less than a mile). Great sunset/sunrise site.
