Legion Park Campground

A couple times a year I bring Cub scouts up here for a hike that is required in their books. We hike to the park and I let them run around and explore. It's never been a dull time. Sometimes when I need to get away for a couple hours I'll come up here by myself. It's always quiet and even when others are here playing it's still peaceful.

Not the most beautiful campground, but not a bad place to weekend. Full hookups, nestled in a valley.

Such a fun area! Perfect for pretty much anything, very nicely kept.

Had plenty of tent camping spots when I went the weekend before Memorial Day. They have hiking trails and a reservoir to fish in. Dog are allowed as long as you have a way to keep them near you. Has a lot of foot traffic on the main road.

Been going here since I was a baby and I've loved it every time everyone is friendly and it's taken care of well. Some people leave trash but that's a given. Full hookups and spaces you don't have to hook up. Bathroom building and porta potty. Also a lake to fish in, tons of hiking and a little park.
