I stayed at The hideaway over the summer for 3 days. What an experience! My cabin had no hot water and even though I paid for all the amenities, Roy didn't even call back to try to make things right. I left word for him to call me so that we could resolve the issues. I had heard through some of the campers that he had already known about the hot water issue. It was the worst experience I've ever had at campground! Absolutely will not be back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An LGBTQ+ Campground Like No Other in Georgia — Nature, Community & Pure Joy Our stay at The Hideaway Campground was absolutely delightful and unlike any other LGBTQ+ campground experience I’ve had. From the moment Bella and I arrived, it was clear this place is something special—a perfect blend of inclusive community, beautiful nature, and playful charm that immediately makes you feel at home. The grounds are lush, green, and lovingly maintained, with so much to explore. There’s a wonderful pool for relaxing and socializing, a peaceful lake that adds to the serenity of the setting, and even farm animals that give the campground a joyful, down-to-earth personality. One of our favorite parts was walking the beautiful wooded trails, which were perfect for long, leisurely strolls with Bella. She was in heaven—sniffing, exploring, and soaking up every moment of the outdoors. What truly sets The Hideaway apart is the warm, welcoming LGBTQ+ atmosphere. It’s relaxed, friendly, and genuinely inclusive, making it easy to connect with others or simply enjoy quiet time surrounded by nature. Whether you’re there to socialize, unwind, or reconnect with the outdoors, this campground offers a little bit of everything in a way that feels thoughtful and intentional. Bella and I left feeling refreshed, happy, and already talking about our next visit. The Hideaway Campground is an LGBTQ+ resort experience like no other in Georgia, and it’s a must-visit for anyone traveling with pets, loving nature, and looking for a place that celebrates community, comfort, and joy. 🌈🌿🐾

The natural setting of the campground is simply beautiful. We especially loved walking around the ponds and taking in the stunning nature. It’s the perfect spot to disconnect and enjoy the outdoors. A special thank you goes out to Leonardo! He was incredibly helpful and took the time to show us all the beauty spots around the property. His personal touch made our stay memorable. Also Mauricio the cat is so sweet and adorable 🫠 If you're looking for a beautiful, friendly, and peaceful escape, look no further than The Hideaway. We highly recommend it and can't wait to return!

The campground is absolutely beautiful with many larger fish ponds. The owners takes great care of the property and keeps it clean and safe for everyone to enjoy. Our cabin was nice, simply decorated and comfortable with a great water view. Benny, the general manager was very friendly and funny. He gave us a tour of the large property and introduced us to some locals “the goats” The resident's are welcoming and so helpful. The staff makes sure everyone is having a good time. I loved the golf cart crawl that gave everyone time to mingle and get to know people you hadn’t met yet. The pool area is very nice and there are plenty of lounge chairs and the small restaurant serves some delicious country dishes at a reasonable price. The barn bar was fantastic and we danced till they turned the lights on and kicked everyone out, We highly recommend this place if your single or are a couple.

We’ve spent the past three years returning to the Hideaway, and each visit has been a genuine pleasure. The atmosphere is welcoming—guests and residents alike are friendly, and the staff consistently go above and beyond with their professionalism and helpfulness. We’ve had the chance to stay in both Paradise and Moonlight House for week-long getaways, and each offered a cozy, comfortable retreat. The entire campground is beautifully maintained, with a wide range of activities that make it easy to stay entertained or simply unwind. This fall, we’re heading back for the much-anticipated Murder Mystery Weekend—and we can’t wait to join in the fun.
