I've been camping here for 17 years and think it's the best. This is a small intimate campground only about 60 campers (permanent). Most campgrounds are between 150-500 campers and all super tight together with little to no space for each. Here the lots are atypical shapes which make them larger and less traditional and more intimate. There has been a change in owners over the last few years and with that came a new dynamic. There are way more families now and activities, parks/playground. Campers regulars and travelers are very friendly and courteous. Most people come here for the beautiful 31 mile lake with it's crystal clear waters. The boat launch is somewhat part of the campground which is very convenient. Public bathrooms are clean and they also have washer and dryer. There are kayaks and paddleboards to rent as well as a dock for a reasonable price. There is also a Free library to borrow books and movies during your stay. The site is beautifully maintained with well kept landscaping. There are plenty of trails around for hiking or 4 wheeling including the famous ''Pont de Pierre'' minutes away. There a convenience store and a pizza place about 10 mins away if you forget something or want a break for dinner. You can also get to the majestic restaurant L'Huile d'Olive in Bouchette directly from the lake. Please note that the town of Maniwaki is 25 mins away and has large grocery stores, pharmacies and other services such as Hospital. Come for a visit and fall in love with this beautiful charming place.
beautiful spot! Super friendly service. Boat launch very clean and easy to use.
Wonderful hidden gem! Camping, boating, beach, and walks. Not much more you can ask for. This place is about 2 hours from downtown Ottawa, but simply a great place to relax. Friendly campground with lots of space to just let go and unwind.
Very clean and friendly great place!!
Excellent place to camp and fish.
