Utica Shale RV Park

Guy running place incredibly nice when I spoke to him b4 arriving at Park. Park was just a stop over for us and we came in at night, left early nxt day. Suggestion to anyone entering this park & towing... there is an incline to enter park. It was covered in sheet of ice packed snow, Thursday Dec 4. Winter weather??? Do not slow down, do not stop, do not pass go...lol. Seriously keep moving, I slowed down too much bc I was paying closer attention to WHERE I was going instead of condition of road. I started sliding backwards and had to stop and sit still, wait for hubby. I tow our cargo trailer, the old one was smaller than this new one. I was being cautious, but.... In this sitch, I was too cautious. Hubby tows our RV, and he was able to get around me, but he also had to back down road and get a run at it. Then he backed me down hill, and was able to climb it w/steady speed. No other issues except very cold. It was 13° when we departed nxt morn. Also guys coming in from wrk at same time we arrived were excellent to jump in and want to help. Ty so much. Think we'll just stop at hotel nxt time altho maybe we'll just bypass towing/traveling in winter months altogether...lol Park from what I could tell is up on a hill, easily accessible sites, no dead end on roads, no amenities that I could see, but I didnt get to really look around either. Plenty of room to park two trailers & two trucks. Areas to walk dogs, but it was too cold to keep them out long. Right off hwy, Loves and other stations readily available. Convenient spot. Would stop in again but def not after a winter storm. I'd have given 4*'s if not for the terrible job did on clearing snow from road entrance to park.

Found the RV park last minute. Great no frills place to stay. Which is what we like. Has water, electric and sewer hook ups. Owner was awesome. Made sure we had all the hook ups we needed. Would for sure stay again. 👍🏻

Quiet, clean comfortable, nothing fancy, 2 nites relaxation before moving on. Visiting relatives in area Near here. Convienent location. Will camp again !!

Convenient, easy in and out amd close to highway. Very quiet and the host was very nice. Call ahead as there is no office. We would stay again as we travel across the country.

No frills RV park, no wifi, no laundry, no showers, but they have full hookups for a good price and a manager with a great attitude! Excellent place for an overnight stop!!
