Great little spot we stayed at before we crossed the border from Canada to the US. Wouldn’t swim in this lake but there are some great spots along the water for Tent campers who want to enjoy the sun setting over the water. We did encounter quite a few bugs. There were these little flies that would get through our window mesh. Had to vacuum them out of our skylight as there was probably 100 of them. lol
Absolutely beautiful campground!! the staff are super friendly and exceptionally helpful. I had an issue with my car and they were all quick to offer any help they could give. the restrooms were very clean, as was the whole campground. It was a pleasure to stay there and I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling the area or looking for a quiet camping getaway.
I've camped at Caliper for 7 consecutive years and it gets better every time. The staff are amazing. The lake is beautiful and a great place to swim. The lakefront campsites are spacious and some of the prettiest sites I've seen. Very quiet, relaxing space to spend time with your friends and family. 10/10 would recommend.
Had another great camping trip at Caliper Lake! It's a 4 hour drive from Winnipeg. The staff are kind and helpful. We called to let them know we would be arriving past office hours and they delivered firewood straight to our campsite. They could also deliver ice to you during the day. It's a pet-friendly campground. Our campsite (47) was right in front of the lake! Excited to go back soon.
Came to Caliper Lake Provincial Park to see the Moose n' Fiddle music festival. Unfortunately I was not able to stay at this campsite as all sites were booked before I got around to it. I was able to secure a site at another nearby Provincial Park. As for the the music festival it was an awesome 2 day event and a great time was had by all in this picturesque setting. I will definitely be putting Caliper Lake Provincial Park on my list of places to camp in the future.
