After staying twice about three months apart in a tent site, I noticed the amenities list needs to be updated. The bathrooms and showers were locked during both stays, and in fact, every bathroom in the entire park area was locked. I'm not sure what the city expects people to do when they charge for camping but don’t provide basic facilities. On the positive side, the host was friendly, the sites were clean, and the area was quiet.
Previous reviews talked about problems here . There are new managers and they have eliminated the problems mentioned. They guard the showers and you get a key from them. The showers are great! Good pressure and temp. The bathrooms are kept clean. Great walks around the rodeo grounds and the park. Again, great new managers make this a good stop to camp at!
Very nice municipal campground. Full hookups and sites for all sizes of vehicle. Reasonable rates and good shade. Close to the highway but quiet. Plenty of room to exercise pets. Perfect overnight for a road trip. It is right next to the rodeo arena. I expect if there was a competition going on it would be busy.
Everytime I go there, it's very pretty. Omak city employees work very hard to keep it clean and beautiful ❤️ We didn't have a fall so leaves are just now falling off the tree, Omak city is blessed to have all of them. So thank you for keeping it real ☺️
Nice and shady campground but sites are a little close so there is little privacy. Showers definitely need some work, it was very dark and dingy in there. It also seems like the agricultural workers take over the mens bathroom in the evening. Clothes and towels strewn all about the place. There was even a violent verbal altercation between an Ag worker and a camper while I was in the shower. Lots of yelling and cursing and one even threw a trash can at the other. It was a little frightening but thankfully it was over and they had dispersed by the time I was done. Ag workers also washing off in the spigots at empty campsites. It would rly be a great spot if it weren’t for the free loaders.
