The park is very nice and family friendly. It is super clean and kind staff. The view of the lake is amazing. The nature trails are well protected and relaxing. We spent a whole day in this park and it was a memory to remember.
Great park with plenty to do! Everything was good on our visit. We went hiking on the trails and also did kayaking, both were a great experience. The park has a lot of amenities (worth looking them up if you’re planning a visit). Overall, it’s a beautiful spot to enjoy the outdoors.
Love our Memorial weekend at the park. Site 1 was big and level. The evening sun was brutal but still a good spot. Bathhouse clean but do need a refresh. All employees and camp host friendly and accommodating.
I had a perfect weekend here! The host and staff were very friendly and attentive, making me feel truly welcomed. We booked campsite No. 12 by the water, and everything was just perfect—especially waking up to a beautiful lake view in the morning. The campsite was quiet at night, and there was plenty of privacy between sites. I really enjoyed my stay and would love to come back again!
This is another very nice Georgia state park full of amenities for daily and overnight visitors. The lake is small but pretty with two boat launches and a place to rent kayaks. There are a couple good playgrounds, pavilions for large gatherings and even an exercise station with various pieces of equipment. The campground has 60 sites that range from good to excellent. If you are fortunate enough to get one by the water you'll be treated to gorgeous sunsets and sunrises. There are also cabins available for rent. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This is definitely a place to stay if you want some peaceful, quiet days in the woods!
