Lovely, quiet, small campground run by delightful folk. Well maintained, level sites.. A simple space in a lovely town.

We have booked with Up Dog for the season. This is such a lovely and (now) quiet & peaceful RV experience. I cannot commend their management team enough for not putting up with the loud, rude, disruptive and abusive behavior of a few individuals, and we are thoroughly impressed when the staff did not hesitate in asking those individuals to vacate the premises. Please note, those same individuals that were asked to leave due to their own rude and disruptive behavior are now leaving disparaging ratings. Up Dog RV Park has standards, and I will happily praise them for upholding them and providing a safe atmosphere and experience for their customers.

My wife and I have been coming here for years. The owners have always been easy to talk to, kind, and accommodating. There has been one issue that I can recall and it was a water line. The owners came out immediately, greeted the campers outside, and supervised the issue until it was fixed. The groundskeeper is more of the same. He always has a smile on his face, keeps the grounds maintained, and ready to help. A few times we have been taking our trash out and he came over in his golf cart and took it for us so we didn’t have to walk. There are a few ponds in the distance that you can walk around with your children or dogs and view the geese and different birds that come to visit. During Old Thrashers once, there was a man playing the violin and a bunch of us gathered from all over the campground to listen. There are fire pits and a wood pile that they have offered to the campers free of charge. We have met so many good people being here and we hate having to leave.

Charming underrated RV park hidden in an undiscovered small town with a surprising menu of events throughout the year. Good rates, 30 and 50 amp., shower house, lots of geese, scenic ponds, the occasional fox sprinting around. Iris Antique store close by, pretty much next door.

Awesome quiet place. Very quiet. 3 ponds for fishing. Great pull in and out . Great owners,Very helpful. Sun or shade it's a great place to stop ,stay or on the go. Bring your fishing pole for the 3 ponds. There's a mini bus that takes you to the county fair and back for free.plenty of stores and gas stations. Right on rt 34. Close to rt 218. There's a Walmart and tractor supply store nearby . They also do venues thru the year at the campground.
