Cahills Lily Pad

(Update), turns out they aren't actually closing down they sold it but they are still open and doing business as usual until further notice. Unfortunately they are about to close down for good I'm not sure why I've been there a few times. We ordered hotdogs. Their hotdogs were really good. I haven't tried any of their other food but they had a lot of different things.

Quiet, easy, no frills camp. On-site Laundry, bath and shower house. Full hook up camper sites, primitive tent sites. On-site camp store and close to major stores.

I'm fairly new to RV sites. This location was very nice and simple. Office staff is very nice and helpful. Only downfall is the drainage after it rains. Several sites, including mine, have several inch deep water pooling in between sites making it not fun to get in or out of your trailer or RV. I would still gladly come back for a stay.

Our family loves going here. Food is homemade and great tasting. They use an air fryer, so the kids can get Chicken nuggets and fries without the grease. You can get anything from Bar-B-Que, Nachos, Chicken Salad, or Hot Dogs. Can't go wrong with any of the sides either. Best part of all is desserts. All homemade desserts, the Banana Pudding is to die for and they serve Homestead Creamery ice cream. Staff is always friendly. And while you are there you can pick up fresh produce.

Went there to get hot dogs and some fries because I thought it'd be good. Yeah no. The slaw is store bought. Chili is from a can. At least they used jesse jones hot dogs. But the reason this place gets one star is due to the French FRIES were cooked in a microwave. Sorry but if you are serving fries. Fry them. That's not acceptable anywhere. Get a fryer. Air fryer. Hopefully improvements will be made. Go camping here or stay in a rv. Looks like a great place but be careful with the food. Not worth the money.
