It's a cute fun area to camp, to float, or hang out at the lodge. They've got a little multiple camping spots, all very very close. We got spot f which was probably the very best one. I'd arrive early or call to reserve. They had karaoke on Friday night, it was fun. There's plenty to do there and we'll be back another time. The bathrooms and showers are nice and clean too. It's a one hr drive to the Ancient Cedar Forest, worth taking the time to go see those big beautiful pieces of nature.
We attended a RV rally at Country Lane and were treated to a lovely spot right at the edge of the river. This was during late summer so the river was low and slow, ideal for floating and wading. There were no full hook up sites in the area where we parked but we are fine off the grid for a few days. There are deferred maintenance issues but nothing that impacted our visit. We will definitely plan a return visit.
Nice campground right next to the river. The restaurant had good food at low prices. The staff were friendly and we did not have a long wait for our meal. The menu is very small but has good variety. They do serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There are more RV sites by the restaurant but they are not as nice as the sites on the other side of the road by the river. They also have a few bikes for rent.
We just attended my wife’s cousin’s wedding here and it was one of the best weddings I have ever been to! It’s the perfect mix of rustic charm with special touches like the river bar and band shell to make the wedding day feel really special! Usually at weddings you only have a few hours to see and talk to everyone, but the family was able to camp and RV all weekend and hang out at the on site restaurant where they serve a really great breakfast, lunch, and dinner without having to worry about a lot of extra coordination. Very laid back and a great way to do a low stress wedding!
We had a really nice time here. Campground was clean and staff very friendly. We had an rv site only drawback no sewer. Gorgeous views of water. bring your life jackets and inner tubes-floating down river is alo of fun!! And only about an hour from Silverwood Theme park.
