They tried to scam us on the way in for double the money for the cabin booking. They forcibly upgraded us after a long journey- they had all day to tell us about this but decided to spring it on us late at night after a long drive: lovely people. The said that booking.com made an error so we must pay more. They ended up settling for 130$ instead of the$100 we booked at- they originally wanted $170. Do not stay here unless you want a scam. Cabins are average.

Batchelor Holiday Park We booked a three-night staycation after confirming by phone that our two small, well-trained dogs were approved with a $50 cleaning fee. On arrival there were no staff at reception and we had to call an after-hours number to access the key. The cabin was very tired and poorly cleaned, gritty floors, a mouldy shower curtain, and dirty cutlery. Later we were aggressively confronted and accused of hiding our dogs to avoid fees, despite having already arranged this by phone. The interaction was uncomfortable and unprofessional. We left after two of the three nights (paid in full) and left the cabin cleaner than we found it. If the park wants to encourage Territorians to staycation in the quiet season, it should reconsider both cleanliness standards and how guests are treated. Disappointing experience overall.

We had such a lovely day at the park! It was fun watching the bird feeding, and we really appreciated how easy it was to get around with space to maneuver the van. We even had a bin and a crate for recycling bottles and cans, which was a nice touch. We stayed for three nights, and on our first night, the owner cooked delicious dumplings. It really helped make the day even more enjoyable! Thank you🙂

We stayed in cabin 7. Fabulous bush tranquil setting and loved the bird feeding. The staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful; thank you for your hospitality. Our cabin had everything we needed for 2 nights and lovely drive to all of Litchfield attractions. We definitely recommend value for money plus a pool.

Great spot. Nicely kept grounds with gorgeous birds 🐦 🐦‍⬛. There were a few cheap ways to enhance the feel of the basic accommodation: new toilet seat and shower curtain would make a world of difference to first impressions. And a new throw or fitted cover to the sofa. Plus new shower head. The unit was clean and functional. The gentleman who greeted us was friendly. I enjoyed the pool which was clean. Overall a pleasant overnight stay.
