Camping Oka

Just arrived for a camping weekend in October. We were not advised by email that we were not allowed fires OR charcoal bbq! SERIOUSLY!! Having known this, I would have cancelled! No sense going camping in October without these two elements. Very disappointed ! It was my first time here AND THE LAST! They could have advised us by email!

We had a really nice stay in the Oka SEPAQ Campground. It was very peaceful and quiet and the facilities were clean and well maintained. One star off because our campsite felt very out in the open compared to many others. We had spot #21 in Meandre. There were 4 other sites that could see directly into our site so try to book a spot on the edge if you can.

Always have a wonderful time at this parc. Love the set up. Really happy that dogs are jow allowed. Easy online reservation and easy entry to parc. Second time I've seen deer here so close I could almost touch them. Also amazing amount of beautiful birds to see. Clean washrooms.

Just amazing. I only wish dogs were allowed in more sectors but it's completely understandable that not everyone likes dogs. Bathrooms were amazingly clean, trash was picked up from the cans 3 or 4 times a day (lots of noise when dropping the trash cans on the truck but nothing to do about it). Friendly staff. Only complaint is the wait line for buying wood is very slow. Will definitely come back soon!

The site we had looked nothing (very little) like the site we booked on Sepaq. The proximity to the other site was an issue. We feel like it was one big camp site. We heard every sounds they made, the 5 of them... The three darker photos are from the booking site itself, where based on it you would expect some minimum privacy. There was none. The people on the site beside us even walked through our site to go to the toilet site. Would not recommend booking this site.
