Henty Park

Great 48hour stopover. Get in early, gets filled up quickly in the afternoons. Plenty of space, we have a big rig and we fitted in well.(we got there at lunchtime)

Great place but only gave 4 stars as their was a man on the disrespecting me on the last day of our stay there would love to go again as I missed the tram ride just hope that man is not there again.

Henty Park RV Free Camping is a great spot for a quick stopover. The location is convenient, the park is nice and quiet, and the toilets are clean — a real bonus for a free campsite. While there are no showers on-site, you can use the nearby Leisure and Aquatic Centre for a swim and shower at a small cost. Perfect for a night or two, and we really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings.

Great little free camp, only 10min walk into the town. Lovely walks to the Botanic garden, and along the river. Toilets are clean. Limit of park stay is 48hrs. Wonderful gesture of Shire 👌👍
