Great campground. It is in a great location to visit Mt Katadhdin, The Ghost Trains and so much more. There is ATV trails. Sites are well kept and easy to get into. You also may get lucky and see a Moose.
We arrived early October and were welcomed by very friendly owners. The park wasn’t very busy. We found a quiet campsite in the back that could accommodate our truck and 28’ trailer. The leaves were changing and the campsite was so colorful and serene that we decided to stay another night to enjoy the peace. The showers were clean, hot and had great water pressure. An overall great experience that we wish we had more time to enjoy.
Vicky was very nice and helpful... always answered my phone calls. Very clean and quiet. Site 28 was perfect... lots of space between campsites. Not perfectly level but beautiful this time of year.
Very unhelpful, gave me two options for a RV site . First one was14 that you couldn’t even park a truck on a goat hill . And the second was site 46 which is also on a goat hill that is surrounded by boulders and impossible to back into because of the trees and boulders .So after getting off goat hill deciding to move on wile the camper had no dents stoped back to the office to cancel and get my credit card money back. They refused said I didn’t have reservations insurance. We had just stop in and had no reservations. They were then unfriendly and don’t recommend staying there. You can’t see anything and the hole place is bad roads and sites . We will never send anyone there it is the worst camp ground ever. Bruce Dyer
Great campground really close to Baxter State Park. The owner Vicki is super nice and is very knowledgeable about the area. The campground was quiet and peaceful with nice large sites. We would absolutely stay here again in the future. Highly recommend.
