Awesome location on the Shuswap River, which is sooo good for tubing. Water is warm & clear (you can see the sandy river bed), Aug & Sept there are no strong currants & it’s shallow enough to touch bottom so it’s great for kids and dogs. Campground is beside a ball park where dogs play off leash when there isn’t a ball game. Make sure you aren’t staying during a ball tourney cause they stay there and are loud at night. There is a walking path that follows the river so great for a jog or walking dogs. No need for two cars, just walk up the path with your tubes and get in at the bridge then float to Tuey Park and walk back to campground. The camp sites are pretty good, some shady spots, generally level but some hills, small and close together so it’s hard to fit more than one tent with your vehicle. Each site has a fire pit & picnic table and there are hook-up on half the sites. Don’t chose the sites along the river if you wanna sleep in because people start walking their dogs 6am and having conversations while they walk. Showers are 1$/6mins but it’s takes 30secs to get warm so get 2 tokens. Office doesn’t open until 1pm so get tokens the night before. Don’t put two tokens in at a time, it doesn’t register the 2nd. Wait for water to stop then put 2nd token in. Bring shower shoes cause the drains are plugged and leave u standing in your shower water 🤢

Great campground. The customer service is excellent. The washroom facilities are spotless. The campground is nicely tree and very quiet. We traveled all the way from BC to NL and back this summer. This was one of the best run campgrounds we stayed at over the 4+ months. Kudos! PS - dog friendly.

Stayed here for two nights to make floating the Shuswap easy peasy and we had a great time. Awesome location, nice clean facilities and the host was so friendly and accommodating. In the mornings I walked the riverside path to Sweet Iron Cafe for coffee and breakfast and it was so close and convenient. 10/10 great little getaway.

Great sites, amazingly clean bathrooms and friendly staff. We had a no power no water site near the park. And all the amenities were close and easily accessible. $1 per 6min for shower (token required) but they did the job and were a decent pressure. Close to the ball fields which have a good little playground and nicely kept washrooms and arbour. Beware - what they say about having stuff stolen is true. We woke up to our drink cooler missing the first night. Found it about a km away floating in the river. Likely just a crime of opportunity by some up to no good kids. However be aware!

My favorite place to be every summer for the past several years! The camp host is so helpful and works really hard to keep everything clean and guests happy. The location on the Shuswap River is amazing, I love it!
