Last week I camped at Caribou/Munroes Island Provincial Park with group of friends and had a mostly positive experience. The camping lots are spacious and well-maintained, providing a great environment for a relaxing outdoor getaway. The water facilities and electricity charging points were very convenient and easily accessible, which made the stay much more comfortable. The washrooms, located in the center of the park, were generally okay. However, the toilets did have some noticeable bad odours that could be improved. Despite this, the overall cleanliness of the park was commendable. The natural beauty of the park, with its scenic views and serene surroundings, with beach close by and picnic area more than makes up for any minor inconveniences. I would definitely recommend this park for anyone looking for a peaceful camping experience and vast beach.

Very nice park that is located along a beautiful stretch of coastline. It has a very nice and long sandy beach that rivals many other places. The sites are overall well sized, especially those with electric and water. Only site 30 is tight for larger trailers and a vehicle. The washroom with showers was very clean, they clean them hourly! However, for a park this size one building with washroom and showers is definitely not enough. Especially if you are in a different loop you are a bit out of luck if you don’t have your own bathroom as even the number of outhouses is low. But they do have cooking shelters which is nice in case the weather is not as great.

At first I didn’t like the place because it looked like you’d get lost easily but after I walked around and got to know places and directions it went fine. The beach is really pretty and so was the sunset. Is was colder at night then I thought but it’s my fault for not bringing thicker clothes, so I suggest get warm clothes and blankets. Overall it was fun :)

During our three week trip with RV in Nova Scotia this was one of the best campgrounds. We had site 9 in loop A with power and had a view on the ocean. Lots of free space to play. Quiet. Beautiful beach with little people and clear water is 100m away. Dumping station and fresh water also available. If you can bring your own wood instead of paying 5 dollar for some sticks (like everywhere in NS).

This is the best camping spot for families. The bathrooms are really nice and clean. The sites are a great size and the beach is a nice sandy beach, although the water is kind of chilly. The Munroe's island hike is a good long walk that is easy for kids.
