Refrigerator not clean. Smoke detector not in cabin. It was provided after I called
We are tenters. The sites are next to the water, and I loved that. The owner was very kind and helpful. The pool & mini-putt areas were in terrific condition, even if we weren't interested. We got rain - but we were VERY thankful for it. Lots of just lightly damp moments to walk the caves, and we've had a terrific variety of seafood. The Caves Restaurant boasts about its chowder (and it is great) but the seafood casserole blew my mind. Huge scallops, lots of shrimp, and some lobster. 🤪 Delicious!! Thank you Saint Martin's - we will be back.
Reservation #9434 – Stay Date: Last Night I genuinely wish I could leave a more positive review, especially because the staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive throughout our stay. Their efforts did not go unnoticed, and we truly appreciated the prompt assistance when needed—especially with replacing the broken fan/light fixture, which was handled gracefully and efficiently. However, the cleanliness of the cabin was deeply disappointing. Unfortunately, the other reviews mentioning similar concerns are consistent with our experience. The space was not at all as clean or fresh as one would expect. For a small rental cabin, it shouldn’t take long to thoroughly detail and sanitize between guests, yet ours felt neglected. Here are just some of the issues we encountered: - Noticeable dirt and debris beneath the mattress - Floors were not clean upon arrival - Smudges or bug remains on the walls - A persistent musty odor throughout the cabin - Missing screen door prevented airflow without inviting bugs - Curtains appeared to have mold or mildew - Mattress covers were visibly unwashed, with large black lint or debris - Bunk bed was wobbly and felt unstable, especially concerning with young children - One light bulb broken at the base - Fan/light fixture was non-functional until replaced by staff - Mattresses beneath the covers seemed old, dusty, and uncomfortable In addition, the main office had a strong odor and felt equally unkempt, which unfortunately set the tone for our arrival. Since it’s the first impression guests receive, it may be worthwhile to consider some updates in both cleanliness and presentation. Had the space been properly disinfected and outfitted with newer, more comfortable furnishings, our experience could’ve been much different. My recommendation would be to revisit your cleaning protocols and possibly consider updating the mattresses and general upkeep of the units and office. Thank you again to the staff for their kindness—we truly wish the cleanliness had matched their level of hospitality.
This is in my opinion the most family friendly rv park in the maritime, nestles just beyond the beautiful beaches of st Martin's with a beautiful breeze on a sunny day. Has many things for kids in the sun or on the rainy days which is very important for parents sanity on their vacation aswell. The staff there go out of their way to make you feel right at home and comfortable. I was actually a seasonal for years in Seaside campground. I hated leaving every single weekend. I wish I could live there honestly. A must experience kind of place. Love love love it.
Had a great stay here with 3 other people . The staff went above and beyond to make everyone happy, the beach was very clean, pool was nice and relaxing, mini golf was fun for me and my boyfriend. Also loved the game room for everyone air hockey was a blast. The trailer we had was super clean definitely will be recommended to people and hope they have a wonderful time just like we did.
