Birds Point Campground

Just visited for the market but the whole place is beautiful. You can tell its a great community . There is a large sandy beach with a shower house . A play ground that is new and looks quite unique . A large restaurant with patio an ice cream and food restaurant with a patio and mini golf. There is nightly camping close to the beach. Mostly seasonal and cabins around everyone seemed happy and relaxed . There is a boat launch with a small fee and a fish filtering station.

Beautiful place for a swim on a clear hot day! I've heard the water can be green but the day we stopped by it was clear. Gorgeous views and clear water.

Great place for a picnic. Good beach area and play ground. We will be back.

Booked this campground as a stop off while driving across Canada. We were told on arrival at 8:30pm that washroom and showers close at 9pm. Could not find this advertised on website or anywhere. Would not have booked if we knew we had no access to toilets or shower (which was one of the big reasons for us booking a campground). Should be advertised!
