Wildwood Resort RV Park

Great place. Great service, Definitely need to visit.

We came on a Thursday-Sunday camping trip. We have our own 5th wheel and rv set up. The resort itself is gorgeous. Pools, pond and water access with paddle boats all including. The only problem and the reason why I’m giving 3 stars is because the camping is a joke. Yes the cabins are gorgeous but if you are in a fifth wheel and want that prime camping experience this isn’t it. The rv spots are across the rode from the water park in a long gravel parking lot in a sense. No shade, no grass, and you’re not going to get that camping experience that we thought we were going to get. We traveled over 2 hours and when we saw the spots we were very unimpressed because they have such a nice resort area but the rv spots are no where near the resort it’s a drive down the road to even get to the resort. We went to the office to let them be aware of our concerns and the lady in the front was not very friendly and told she’ll call us back. She called us back to just give us 30% off a cabin but why would we want a cabin when we wanted the camping experience with our house on wheels? We went to the next door camping area which was much nicer and offered better spots for rvs and campers and just left. We ended up paying for both spots because we definitely weren’t staying in the gravel parking lot it was a joke. So beware if you travel here and intend on camping in an rv that the spots are not shaded and there is no shade etc. I wanted to leave this review because I believe we are not the only people that this has happened to. If you are wanting cabin this place is good but other than that like I said don’t do it because the camping experience will not be what you are anticipating.
