This park is in a fantastic location and we have been going there for years but the toilet block and camp kitchen room in front of the office needs attention. After visiting other parks near by I'm needing to write this. Can the management please go to the ladies and check out the vents above showers, mould on the tiles, has the A/C ever been serviced. I asked one of the staff if they would put a maintenance report for a screw on the shower scrapper so it does not fall apart when trying to clean the shower floor but nothing happened. We often use the camp kitchen on a very hot day for relief and enjoy watching the tennis but no one could get free TV on the television. Instead we sat and listened to the game machines that I'm sure parents do not want in the park. We did notice this year how friendly the staff were compared to other years this was appreciated. Children's bath room needs attention also. Only one washing machine in that block is also not good enough at peak times. I hope this helps to further the improvement of the park for the long term visitors and new visitors.

Been coming here for years, and it is in a great location with beautiful trees and river outlook. Unfortunately maintenance has not been prioritised. Most toilets in our block are missing their flush buttons, only one soap dispenser works. Easy fixes, but these issues are not attended to. TV in the camp kitchen has disappeared this year which is disappointing as we love to watch the AO there. All the sites are virtually devoid of grass which means the bathrooms get very muddy. A small amount of effort is all that is required to fix these issues, but they persist year after year.

We camped here for two nights (Fri, Sat) in mid-January 2026, booking at late notice. We were in Bright for an Audax road cycling event. The park is in a great location, literally a few hundred metres from the main shopping centre of Bright, with easy access via walking paths. The express check-in was good, but the boom gate access did not operate successfully for some minutes. I also found it difficult to find my unpowered site (the site numbers were virtually non-existent), and only with looking closely at the map was I able to deduce which site we had booked. The unpowered site itself (171) was basically dirt and very dusty, enough to *just* fit my 6.5m long campervan and a tent. It was under a large oak tree which was nice for shade, in front of an amenity block. The toilet block and shower block (separated) were very average and not particularly clean (faeces smeared on the toilet lid for a number of days!). There were no shower curtains and so the water goes everywhere in the cubicle. The laundry in the amenities block (2 x troughs) was basically used to wash dishes and charge devices. The camp sites around us appeared to be very small and tight with very little space between sites. The riverside ones were the smallest from what I could see. The river running through the campground seemed to attract the most attention (it was mid-summer), with people using the cool running water to sit in, lie in or play in. There were plenty of young families with many bikes being ridden through the camp, as well as quite a few dogs being walked. The Mystic MTB Park is a kilometer or so from the caravan park, and there seemed to be quite a few people riding to/from the park. People were respectfully quiet at night after 9pm. There was a coffee cart in the park which seemed to be super busy in the morning. I didn't use the pool, but my cycling partner did and said it was good. Overall, I would say that the park is *just* satisfactory but I wouldn't go back there again. There are better options and compared to many other campgrounds I have stayed in, it just wasn't up to scratch. The sites could be more appealing (grassed) and the amenity block upgraded for a start.

I booked a powered site for a tent. The allocated site did not have a single blade of grass. The whole site was covered with sharp gravel and the wind was blowing dust everywhere. I ended up abandoning that and pitching on a grassy section adjacent my friend's caravan site otherwise the floor of my tent would have been shredded. Facilities were clean and the location is great right near the shops and the river.

What a fantastic stay at NRMA Bright Caravan Park! Ashleigh gave us such a warm and friendly welcome & recommendations of places of interest. The park itself is leafy beautiful, with a lovely creek running right through it, perfect for relaxing. Camp fires are allowed & the ambiance this creates adds to the magic of the stay. Bright is such a fantastic town – great cafes, stunning scenery, and plenty to do. Highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting the area!
