I entered the park on Acacia Road and noticed that there is non-potable water available for rinsing.

Stayed for a few days. No rubbish bins in park all out on the road for days awaiting emptying, surely something else could have been organised. Bins in toilet facilities were full for 3 days had to call to get them emptied as the female toilet bins were full of used menstrual products, not pleasant. A designated disposal unit for these items should be mandatory. Bins were eventually emptied but nothing else appeared to be cleaned. Have stayed there quite a few times over the last couple of years but things are definitely going downhill quickly.
A former 'company town' making a brave effort in converting itself into a community and a tourist stop. It's en route North to Marree and Kati Thanda (lake eyre). We staged at the caravan park for 4 nights. Power, water and clean amenities. Safe. Great pub next door. Foodlands, and a brilluant cafe (The Sassy Emu).
The camping sites are flat and many have concrete pads. It does feel a bit like a car park though. The amenities are the old coal miner rooms that have a toilet and shower in each - weird. Currently the office at the caravan park is closed and you need to checkin at the service station.
Built on an old donga site. Services very ordinary shower blocks mouldy, no shade and wind swept. Would not reccomend , Cropley 5 klm up the road good.
We had a great overnight stay. The caravan park staff was very helpful and humorous! The amenities were welcomed after coming in off the Oodnadatta track. The staff in the supermarket were friendly chatty, telling us about the town and what to see. We really hope this town thrives, as it has a lot to offer.
