Lake Texana State Park

The place is well kept but the staff acts as if the buildings are sacred temples and aren't friendly AT ALL! Most of the doors to the "education centers" are all locked and didn't learn a thing! Only saving grace was the scenery. Also, fix the grills by the nature center. Their terrible!

I came out here to camp with my friends and family so we could all camp together. We had a great time We built fires, caught a few fish and an alligator. Perfect place for unwinding and relaxing.

The park is a beautiful place to camp and just chill. HOWEVER, since the politicians sold us out by sending all the water to Corpus Christi, the place is just getting sad for any recreation activities.

We Love this park!! We love it so much my fiance and I will actually be getting married here in exactly one week's time. Our family has been coming here for years for everything from summer camping trips and family reunions to celebrating major holidays at their big beautiful cabins. We love the relaxed, helpful atmosphere here and how safe the park is for families with small children. We have celebrated many family milestones on the beautiful shores of Lake Texana and look forward to many more.

This is our second time staying here at the campground. It was awesome as always. We even had a surprise firework show.
