Riverside RV Park in Ruidoso was fantastic. We were met by Eddie the park host, with Jell-O shots!! What a great concept! He was beyond friendly. Loved visiting with him. Billie is who we communicated with. She wasn’t on site but was equally friendly. Apologized for the condition of the pad due to 2 rounds of flooding. Refunded some money to us automatically. If we ever go that way again we will stay there and for sure recommend it to others!
I can not say enough about this little park. 10+ ⭐️. Upon arrival I was concerned but they helped us get our 40 ft 5th wheel parked. Right on the River! Yes tight spots but very well worth it! Then we had to move due to a truck breakdown and we were stranded there for several days. The hospitality we received was Amazing! People who didn’t know us at all offered us their vehicles. They offered going shopping for us, took us to eat and to play golf. Yes it is a bit noisy on the road and a ball field right across the street but the River and the park make up for it. Loved the trail along the River to walk the dogs leash free. Lots of little entertainment and things to do during the week in the pavilllion. We will return for a lengthier stay next year!
You really couldn't ask for a better location for an RV park. It's tucked away just off Gavilan Canyon Rd right up against a mountain and next to a river. It's also close to all the necessary shopping. The owner is extremely hospitable and there is a genuine sense of community where people help each other. The way the park is designed is great, with a cool office building and covered pavilion for events. Everything is made to feel very homey. Don't miss this one!
Awesome spot with river access. Extremely friendly residents and staff. Arrived on a Saturday and they were doing a free fish fry with desserts and had a Jell-O shot tray going around. Very kid friendly and cute bear decor throughout the park. Smaller spaces but not overwhelming. All the residents were extremely nice. Karaoke on weekend nights at their patio and community area. Free WiFi and cable. Full hookups. I have no complaints. Love this spot.
We had an absolutely fabulous time here for our 3 night escape. The RV park is small but not cramped. There is even a path along the Rio Bonito, which borders the park, so you can enjoy a stroll along the river. I was pleasantly surprised when we were invited to join in a great brisket dinner and entertainment. If your looking for a place to just relax and unwind, this is it.
