My son and I stayed 3 nights here while travelling through the area on motorcycles. No campsites were available when we booked, so we got one of the camper cabins. The hosts were super nice and helped us out with a late check-in. Cabin was a bit cramped compared to other KOA camper cabins I've stayed in. However, we made due, because it was quiet and an enjoyable stay, close to Acadia, Penobscot Narrows Bridge, Fort Knox, and several other attractions. Sitting outside in the evenings was very nice. Lots of friendly folks were there that weekend.
Nice, clean, quiet and reasonably priced KOA. We stayed for about 5 days. Owners very nice and accommodating. It’s a smaller one but has all the amenities we needed. A nice pool, a nice play ground and a nice area to take walks. Convenient for day trips to the Bar Harbor area and Acadia as well as point south to Camden and Rockland. Would definitely come back.
Maine is a bucket list destination for us. The location of this Campground is perfect! Beautifully well kept campground easily accommodated our 45’ Class A plus Toad. Tons of beautiful backroad scenic drives just outside the gates. Close to Bar Harbor and Acadia and all the seaport towns. Staff were friendly and helpful! Completely recommend this campground
We stayed for the Fourth of July Weekend in Camping Cabin 1 and had a great time! The campground is clean and well kept and the staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze and they have a gift shop and convenience store to get anything you forgot or didn't know you needed! The campground is in a great location with multiple restaurants and a grocery store nearby! We will definitely come back if we are looking for somewhere to stay in the area!
My wife and I stayed at site 51. There was a lot of room for my 37ft fifth wheel and truck. Site had a huge patio with table , and umbrella, a bench swing and fire pit. Campground and area was very quiet and super clean. It was well maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It felt like family oriented. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CAMPGROUND TO ANYONE.
