Bancroft Tent & Trailer Camp

Great place to camp. The couple that run the place are so nice. For it being a weekend by 11pm everything was quite. They have a small lake here ,great for kayaking. No motors aloud on the lake. This place is dog friendly, they have a great dog walking trail.

UPDATE - DESERT DAWGS AND HAPPY This place is amazing, and we became seasonal trailer peeps this year, so much to do, friendly as all get out, and energizing, the air, the water, its refreshing to get away to our home away from home. The owners and all of the seasonal people really make this park something very special. There are some spots still left!! and a few trailers for sale!! Dont delay. Mike and Sheila are the best, wonderful helpful people. Cannot say enough. The Social Committee with Chuck and Jim, Josee, AL, make it so much fun, with horseshoe tournaments, card tournaments, and BBQs and Pot lucks! made some lifetime friends, and cant wait to be there every weekend we can this season. We even have invited many friends to come and camp with their RVs as well. Love it and are STAYING!!!!! ************************************************************** The old owners Sheila and her husband are BACK! Hoping to secure a spot here, they are working hard to fix what the corporation did that bought this place! Cannot wait to spend summers here with our Grandchildren!!!

Our little family had such a fun weekend at Bancoft tent & trailer camp! We had our big 33 ft trailer on Site 15 for 4 days - and oh my goodness what a dream! Sheila was so wonderful, helping to guide us down some of the tree-lined roads to get us safely into our spot. Once we were set up - & this spot is right on the beach!! - it was a fantastic weekend in the sunshine, water & soft sand. Great water pressure, great neighbors, great fishing off the dock, free paddle boats & kayaks to use. There's a sweet pair of loons that hang out right off the dock, gorgeous birds & friendly ducks. What a fantastic time, we cannot wait to go back!

A hidden gem on route to our home, we were driving back to Owen Sound from Ottawa and were looking for a place to camp out with our new fifth wheel for a night or two, we ended up extending our stay for an extra two nights because we have been enjoying our time so much. It’s family friendly, awesome playground, the lake has plenty to keep the kids busy and it’s an awesome place to unwind by a campfire. Mike and Sheila hospitality has been amazing from helping us park our fifth wheel, to pumping our flat tire they have made this place memorable and awesome!
