Good campground but closer together than we’d like. Friendly wood guy and nice area for dog walks and hikes.
Camped Sun-Weds the last week of September, during the off-season. The park was nearly empty and we loved it! Nobody at the office, but calling the # posted and getting checked-in over the phone was easy. Site 48 is our favorite. End site on the channel into the lake. Beautiful sunset views. If you own a boat, you can keep it right behind your site. Electric has been upgraded to 30/50amp and the bathrooms & showers look brand new. The campground is well-maintained and the bathrooms were cleaned constantly. Something to note: The picnic tables are 8' and all of our fitted tablecloths are standard 6'. We've not run into this in a state park before.
Loved Deep Lake rustic camping sites. Perfect for wanting a quiet secluded feel.
I stayed at Deep lake campground. The campground was very nice. Plenty of bathrooms. Pit toilets though. This is rustic. Some spaces on top of each and others very private. Mountain bike trail was awesome. Lots of shortcuts if you have family that needs to cut it short. Beach at main area. Deep lake has boat launch and fishing dock. The only gripe I have is if main campground is full they do not allow Deep lake campers to use shower. And it was a heatwave so we stunk.
Love the trails out there well marked well kept bugs at s minimum just good scenery all around plenty of lil lakes to explore in the area also
