Woodson State Park

It’s a wonderful lake to camp there and fishing. My buddy and I camp there with our Motorcycles is very season. Water is beautiful. The dam is very tall overall, just a great place to go spend the day at camp and enjoy some of the scenes of the woods in County

Came across this on the way to Wichita from Fort Scott. I am in love with sunflowers-so when I saw this I was so excited! It looks like something out of a photograph-absolutely beautiful.

My husband and I love this place!!! It's always so nice and quiet! Alot of different places to fish from, grills at every spot!!! Seems like we are the only ones that ever come to this place!!! Hope I'm not ruining the place for us lol!!!

This lake has definitely become one of our favorite to come to. Very peaceful lake.

Cute little lake to stay the night at! There are some pit toilets on the one side. Many sites to choose from that are spaced pretty decently apart. There was a dump and water station near the main office building along with a boat ramp. Lake was super calm. Wish I had a chance to get out on the water!
