Have camped here twice, and will definitely come again. The cafe is open to public and we come quite often for dinner. It’s always clean, with great staff and great food. The campground is in a great location, well laid out and just an overall great experience.
I only do 4 stars because we only stayed 1 night after arriving after dark and didn’t use any of the amenities. The sites are very spacious and long enough for our 45’ motorhome. We didn’t have our toad but it would fit as well. The office staff were very helpful on the phone…we didn’t meet anyone in person. Got a BBQ sandwich from the cafe that was very good. They also offer a nice Military/First Responder discount…very much appreciated. We will likely be back!
Great Rv park! Starting at the staff, very polite and attentive. I have had no issues with billing and the rates are fanstastic. The park is VERY well taken care of, concrete level pads. Pea gravel side yards so you will not have to worry about tracking mud into your rig. They have a restaurant on site!! It is gated and makes you feel very secure. Basketball courts and plenty of activities for the kids and a nice pond. You can fill propane there also. Conveniently located just off the interstate (you cannot hear the traffic) and there is a loves truck stop on the same exit so you can fuel up before you hit the road. Just an all around beautiful rv resort!! Water pressure is good, power is good, and the wifi is good.
Forest Grove RV Resort in Dandridge, TN, is a fantastic newer getaway—perfectly situated just off I-40, with easy access to the Smoky Mountains, Douglas Lake, and all the attractions in the area! This beautifully designed resort feels fresh and modern, with spacious concrete pads, full hookups, and plenty of room between sites for privacy and comfort. The amenities are top-tier: a huge heated pool with four exciting water slides and a splash pad that’s a hit with kids and adults alike, basketball and volleyball courts, cornhole, a fun arcade, a dog park, and clean, modern bathhouses. The on-site Forest Grove Cafe is a standout—serving delicious homemade meals, smash burgers, pizzas, and more in a welcoming spot with great views of the grounds. The staff throughout the resort are friendly, helpful, and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Everything is impeccably clean and well-maintained, with beautiful views of the surrounding hills. Free WiFi, convenient location, and a peaceful yet fun atmosphere make it ideal for families, couples, or anyone looking to relax or explore East Tennessee. When arriving, take I-40 to Exit 412 (Deep Springs Road/Douglas Dam Road), then head south on Deep Springs Road. For the easiest access—especially with larger RVs to avoid hairpin turns—use the southernmost (second) entrance to Big Bird Lane, then turn onto Harbin Road and follow it to the resort at 1000 Harbin Road. Whether you’re staying for a weekend or longer, Forest Grove RV Resort delivers an outstanding experience. Highly recommend—five stars without hesitation!
We stayed here for the first time this past weekend. The sites are kept clean and well maintained, bath houses are fantastic, very clean and big enough to be comfortable. The café has great food, weve already booked for next year. I would highly recommend camping here. I would love to see another dog walking area closer to the top of the campground though as it's a long walk to the dog play area (especially in cold or rainy weather) but the dogs loved the outdoor fenced in play area and obstacles. The staff was super helpful and polite, we look forward to being back next year!
