Blacksmiths Beachside Holiday Park

We are regular travellers who have covered most of the country. We were rather disappointed with a number of things during our stay. - Sites were very small which is subjective - management needs to police there rules and when there are issues not to throw the you out to the wolves who you had complained about for not having complied with park rules. After that occurred we had the people we had complained about get rather aggressive with us. We will not be returning again and will not recommend it to family and friends coming to the area

Stayed here prior to moving to friends' home. An excellent caravan park and we had an excellent cabin with all the mod cons. Table & chairs on the deck. The staff service was excellent and Brae couldn't have been more helpful. It was a pleasure to stay here.

This is on about this caravan park, but the way they actually manage the bookings for Morisset Showground. Unfortunately the place that used to manage it no longer does I made a booking for December and sent an email asking about changing the dates and if I got a refund how much would it be? I have this email in writing and I get an email back saying I have cancelled the booking, they kept $30 and if I want to book again or change, I have to pay another $50, this is nothing short of ripping off people and they wonder why people don’t want to stay in caravan parks anymore when you’ve go ahead and do this. Not once was I told I could not change my booking. Nor did I ask for it to be refunded. My email asked how much if I did refund would I get back that was not answered all I got was an email saying your booking has been cancelled. That was not what I asked. When I asked for it to be reinstated and they said well you need to pay a deposit again because we’ve already refunded you. How is that my problem when you ignored what I asked in an email and when he and did something and now want me to pay more. The Showground itself is such a lovely place and when I booked in 2024 to stay there, it was managed by another caravan park with such lovely helpful stuff this time total opposite, or because they cannot read an email and stuffed up on their part

Brae and Beau are just incredible, nothing feels like too much trouble and they are always accommodating. Amenities are clean, lawns are regularly mowed so all sites are neat and maintained. Service in the office is great, plenty of essentials available in the office if you need something and can't make it to the shops. Beach is close by, grannies pool is great for the kids. Our favourite spot, we always come back to!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a fantastic stay at Blacksmith Holiday Park! The whole place was very clean and had everything we needed. Our cabin was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The outdoor facilities were great — clean BBQ areas and toilets conveniently located around the park. We also loved that the recreational hall was open for guests to use, and the soundproofing made it perfect for gatherings without disturbing others. Highly recommend this park for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!
