Thousand Trails campground gigantic, neat and clean. Alot of activities, most are early in the day. 2 pools, hot tub. Wifi is not good neither is cell service. So come prepared. Most employees are nice and helpful. Did not care for food served in the rec hall. It's a great place to hang out in the cold months.

Everyone told us to visit this location because of the many kids. Our daughter made several friends here. She absolutely loved it. But we visited at the wrong time of year and couldn't enjoy the pool. However, we did enjoy the little restaurant. And the my children enjoyed movie night. We were put in the old section and were right on top of our neighbor. We did not like that. Candi the lady that works in the shop, is very nice and very friendly. If we decide to return, we hope that our stay is better. It just wasn't for us, even though my children had a good time. It was cold majority of the time we were there visiting, but that's our fault entirely. I would recommend it for families because kids definitely would enjoy it.

Thousand Trails Orlando RV Resort was a very nice place to stay. The resort itself is huge with plenty of accomodations. The Rec hall was impressive with lots of activities and even a restaurant. Everyone staying at the resort seemed nice with everyone waiving to each other and always saying good morning. It was nice and quiet, being far enough out to not hear a lot of traffic. The nature was great and the lake was beautiful. My main complaint would be the laundry facilities. Over half the machines did not work or were broken and only a few of the token machines worked. You'd have to drive to multiple comfort stations to get tokens, and then hopefully find a station that had enough working washers and dryers to finish a load of laundry. We just ended up going to a local laundry mat to skip the frustration. Overall, with laundry excluded, Thousand Trails Orlando was a great place to stay.

Thousand Trails Orlando is overall a very nice park, but the experience can vary quite a bit depending on where you’re placed. We were assigned to the back section on Gulf Drive, and squeezing our 46 foot rig back there was a challenge. The site itself was extremely tight, and we were parked right next to our neighbor’s sewer hookup, which is less than ideal. If you get assigned back there with a large rig, I’d strongly recommend asking for a different site. That said, the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and they were easy to work with. The park has a lot going for it, especially for families. The pools are nice, and our kids had a great time swimming and meeting other kids. There’s also a playground and a large rec center, which gave them plenty to do. One thing worth noting is the overall vibe. While many people were great, some of the full-timers didn’t seem particularly kid-friendly, which was noticeable at times. It’s not a deal breaker, but something families should be aware of. There is a fitness center on site, which is a nice idea, but the equipment is pretty old and outdated. It works in a pinch, but it’s not a standout amenity. Overall, it’s a solid park with good facilities and friendly staff. Site placement really matters here, especially for big rigs, but if you’re in a better section, it can be a very enjoyable stay.

This is our second time staying at 1000 trails Orlando, and we give it 4 stars for a big huge RV parf with numerous different sections. We stayed in the new section this time with all concrete pads, fresh grass, big huge spots. Lots of room in between easy to back in bathhouses were in good shape. The guy at the front gate was the same man that checked us in 4 months back, and he was a very nice man, made sure we followed the rules and made sure we read all the literature given. I like it because you have 2 lanes. One gate code lane and one check-in lane. And around noon, this place gets very, very busy, almost backed all the way out to highway. 27. So I would recommend getting there either a couple minutes before or wait an hour and a 1 after for a smooth check. In we pulled in at 2 o'clock and did not wait. Very good park, 2 big pools, outdoor showers. We even played volleyball from 1 to 3 o'clock. It was a good time we got good son and had a wonderful Saturday afternoon.
