Quiet, scenic campsite. Only thing the site needs is a clean restroom.
Nice campground, You can always hear the sound of the river, And look down the river, The toilet is a little behind the road. There are tent only campgrounds and few drive in campgrounds.
8 or 10 bucks a night with good amount of space between campsites, some spots you have to walk to but not far others you can park your car right at the site all of them are close to the river with a mixture of river rock and Sandy Beach. Fishing is minimal mostly small black bass with the possibility of a rainbow trout. The ranger is friendly and they have fire pits with grills however high fire alert seasons coming up so they will put cellophane around the fire pits at that point.
This is the very last campground at Briceburg.Waterfalls are past the gate to your right before the bridge.Walk in only short distance though.N o t visable from the road.3 swimming holes with waterfalls are here Waters cold but bareable. No showers here so you can figure it out.Later in the summer there dried up So spring is the best time to visit Wild.Flowers are popping .Indians have used this area to grind their acorns for centuries.Bench located here for viewing Big heads up No Cell Service none what so ever Make whatever calls you have to because once you get here it's a long haul back. 10 campground s first come first serve.Yellow envelopes located in a brown box must be completed and funds paid $10. Before the campground spot is yours One restroom Beautiful beyond belief. Enjoy
It was so clean and very well maintained. Which made good neighbors, who were pretty friendly and considerate. There was a couple of cars that drove beyond speed limit causing too much dust. I liked the frequency of service personal keeping the place clean and safe.
