It's nothing but a scam. Wired almost 13000 for a motorhome I never received. Price wasn't to crazy compared to the local ones for sale. They called me with updates all the way until it didn't show up on the scheduled day. My number was blocked the next day. Waiting for the police to either put them in jail or under the dirt....don't care which.
I wired $9,900 to them for an RV and it was supposed to be delivered 3 weeks ago and it still hasn’t shipped! When I called to inquire about it, they blocked my area code on their phone! I have emailed them several times and they refused to respond! I am still waiting for my RV or my money refund! Not very happy about this!
SCAM! SCAM! STAY AWAY! SCAM! SCAM! I found a "too good to be true" deal, and it turns out (after literally hours of research and some phone calls and emails) the actual reputable finance company that currently has a lien on the vehicle I was looking at buying doesn't have a record of The Rolling Coachman or Kenny Taylor (the CEO on the purchase agreement I was sent by these people) on the currently applicable finance agreement. The pictures in the listing on The Rolling Coachman website are recycled from when the same RV was sold by a dealership in Arizona, and THAT dealership's website indicated that the RV these guys are trying to sell me in July for $12900 was purchased in April for around $33k. I talked to a lady on the phone from the number listed on these guys' website, and while she was nice she spoke very quickly and had a difficult to understand accent. She claimed they "bought it at an RV auction so that's why they could sell it so cheaply." Maybe they're legitimate, but I'm not willing to bet $13k on it. I messaged The (legit) Rolling Coachman on Facebook messenger, they had an RV they used to rent out through a few different reputable websites, and a Facebook page to drum up business. They're not affiliated in any way with this entity. The person I messaged said they've never sold RVs, and that they no longer own the one RV they used to rent out. I even sent them a link to this website, I'm still awaiting some kind of response. There IS a "The Rolling Coachman LLC" registered in the state of Indiana, but I've yet to hear back from their registered agent to confirm which one they are. To the proprietor: if you can live stream to me a walk through tour of the RV, show me a paper title (and provide verifiable details about your escrow company) I'll gladly and rapidly remove this review, sign your purchase order, buy your rig, and give you a 5 star review. Until then I just don't have that kind of money to risk on this. Thanks.
I’ve been searching for a campervan for a long time, and when I saw this listing I was excited — it was perfect. It checked every box, especially the price. I figured something had to be wrong with it, but the 10-day inspection allowance made it worth the cost of delivery. I bought it sight unseen, just like I had with the last car I purchased through Carvana. That process was nerve-wracking but worked out. Speaking to Sara Moore wasn’t especially reassuring. She walked me through the supposedly safe and secure process of wiring money to an escrow account. She spoke so fast and with an accent that I felt like I only picked up every couple of words. I pieced it together, repeated it back to her as I understood it, and she affirmed it. Because she was hard to understand, I didn’t ask a lot of questions. The first wire transfer bounced back — weird, huh? But who knows, these things happen, right? I don’t know. I got $500 off the purchase price for the inconvenience, so I did it again. After that, I got an email saying they’d contact me after setting up an appointment with the notary, but that was late Friday afternoon. When it didn’t happen, I thought, “Huh, okay, I’d better call,” but I couldn’t get through. These things happen too, right? Right? I decided to trust the process. Maybe they’re closed on weekends. Yeah, that’s grasping at straws, but I was so excited to get my van! I spent the weekend looking for parking options, insurance, watching videos about campervan care — road trips got planned. One thing that stood out: these vans are expensive. Really expensive. Rare, even. During my searches I found one nearly identical to mine listed at another dealership. Oh wait — not “nearly.” It was identical, down to the photos and the VIN. The only “nearly” about it was the $64,000 price difference. I never got through on Monday either. So I used a different phone, and ta-da — it went to voicemail. I left two polite messages with my number requesting a callback. No response. That’s when I began the painful process of trying to recover my money, filing a police report, and realizing that my chances of saving up that much money again for another campervan are pretty much nil. When I made my purchase, there were no reviews anywhere — only the glowing ones on their own site. Now, within just the last few days, honest reviews have begun to appear. One buyer discovered their RV listing used recycled photos and a bogus dealership name, with the actual RV having been sold months ago for tens of thousands more. Another person wired $6,000 and never received their vehicle — now their calls are being completely ignored. A third left multiple unanswered voicemails and warned others, in all caps, to “NEVER NEVER NEVER do fund transfers to any account.” Turns out I wasn’t the only one who trusted too soon. I wish I could give them less than one star — even that feels undeserved. So thanks for crushing my dreams, stealing my money — and I'll be thinking of you in prison, stamping license plates for $0.39 an hour, until every last dime you've stolen from all of us is paid in full — one clank of metal at a time.
