Great location, sunsets are amazing. The river water is so clear. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back. Highly recommend
We spent a week there in early July. There were many sites available, so the owner told us to look around and choose the one we wanted. We chose #16a, which had the most shade. We absolutely loved the site. It was pretty private with no neighbors in front of us and only 1 behind us. Lots of wildlife around. We were able to launch our kayak and go for a paddle, too. I took off 1 star because there is no laundry facility on site and no pool either. After checking out the area, my husband said that I would not like the swim area as the river had a strong current and the water was a murky brown color.
Great place to camp, the river is always beautiful and great to float on a tube, boat or sea doo, there's a marina right next to the park... Unfortunately there is no playground or amenities for children other than the river to fish or swim in. There are electric hookups also... People are all friendly and the best part is the fantastic views!
Beautiful spot along the river—would highly recommend swimming off of the dock and watching the sun set over the river. Bathrooms were clean and the owners were friendly!
Stayed for my annual walleye run. I don't own a boat and usually fish from a dock. Which was amazing that they had one ready and available. Staff were incredibly helpful our entire stay so much so we doubled our stay. Hit my license limit and hit a 20.5" walleye on my first cast at 2pm! Talk about a lucky fishing hole! Beautiful crystal teal water and plentiful walleye, pike and silver bass opportunity. could not be happier! Nice quiet clean campground with wonderful amenities and staff that make you feel right at home! 100% will be returning!
