Adams Lake State Park Campground

This is a beautiful park.It's just highly disappointing that nobody's gone out to help the ducks that were stuck.There are a bunch of dead ones and two dumped peaking ducks.One has died.We got the other one ashore and fed it and he's looking pretty healthy.But he won't survive out there.The canadian gee had a bunch of babies, and some of the parents got stuck to the ice and died.Why is animal control not out there?Helping it's just heartbreaking, my autistic nephew had to witness all this.It was really hard.

We visited Adams Lake State Park which is part of the Adams Lake Prairie State Nature Preserve. This is a small quiet lake park located just North of West Union Ohio. We hiked the Storybook trail which is an easy and accessible paved trail along the lake shore. Adams Lake, though rather small, offers electric motor boating and fishing opportunities. In addition to some hiking trails, the park offers scenic lake views with picnic areas, a shelter house and a playground. This is a nice peaceful lake and great place to unwind.

This is a very relaxing park. The lake is small, but quite lovely. They should rename this to turtle lake as I must have seen at least 30 of them. There’s not much here for hiking, but it’s a great place to check out and enjoy for a short excursion.

Relaxing place to visit. You play basketball, swing, picnic, and spend time with family. It's a peaceful place to get away from the house or reality for a little while. There's picnic tables all around the park, ducks and the dam are there too. It's one of our favorite places to visit. Walking the trails and reading ❤️
