Orondo River Park

Beautiful! No trash and nice swim spot & playground for kids. Will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful riverside park with lots of shade, walking paths, picnic tables, a small beach, boat launch -- and the most spectacular views. Such a relaxing place to get a little reprieve from the heat.

I can't say anything bad so I rated 5. Compared to Wenatchee river park it is a less crowded trail. The trail is paved and in good smooth condition. Walking, jogging, biking, or skating may work. I suggest going to the far end rv camp site or boat ramp and making it a round trip for closer to 3.5 miles. It is a nice little causeway you walk along at one point. Great views. Plenty of bathrooms along the path. They have a designated tent area as well. Maybe not a place to drive out of the way for but worth a change of pace. I will go back on occasion just for that reason. I like a short brisk heart rate elevating walk with a view. I get bored so like a different scene. This was nice. Just one little noticeable hill and it is not much at all. I believe many in unpowered wheelchairs and in ok shape could handle the hill but it may take some effort. It is near shade and a restroom. It is about midway. There are bigger hills at the main part of the Wenatchee River park so if you can handle that you are golden! Tent camping is walk-in. About 1/2 mile but you can use supplied large carts to tote your gear.

Quiet oasis during the summer doldrums. Plenty of soft grass, picnic sites, beach area and boat launch. Mature trees and a constant breeze along the Columbia. Too hot, try the water!

We have been coming here for three years, in the past years this park was beautiful green and well taken care of but just this last year it changed manager/owner. This park in now gross, dirty and over packed. Tents in the yard killing the grass. OH wait there is no grass now it's practically all dirt. The camp sites are small and people just cut across them with no respect. Cars are double and triple parked to accommodate the already over packed park. THIS is no longer a peaceful beautiful little park, it's a ugly disgusting pit hole with over flowing garbage cans. WE WILL NEVER RETURN, it's killing us to finish our current stay here......8-19-2017
