We had a really nice stay. This is a lovely rv park to stay at. Very nice dog park and pool area. Wish the hot tub was heated all the time but it was only heated over the weekends. Showers were nice with really hot water. They could use to add hooks or stools to place your towels on instead of a tall shelf above the shower. Staff were very nice and helpful. The highway was noisy but we knew that before staying. We would stay again.
We liked the KOC Kampground so much we ended up staying 3 weeks! The restrooms/showers were always clean. The grounds were kept up and everything was just right! The staff was very nice too! It was located fairly close to shopping, restaurants and attractions. We will be back!
Pleased with the decent sized RV sites and friendliness of the staff. Conveniently located within relatively short driving distance of Avery Island (Tabasco factory), swamp tours (we were very pleased with Atchafalaya Basin Landing Airboat Tours), the historic Conrad Rice Mill (a gem we stumbled across), etc. There is a hiking trail around a lake on the campground property where you can see birds and other wildlife and a unique campground store. The only downside could be if your site is near the campground entrance where there is a fair amount of road noise and, at times, thumping music “noise” from an across the way bar.
This is truly a remarkable little/big RV resort. The pool is amazing. The grounds are amazing humongous areas of green. Shower facility nice laundry facility very reasonable. They’ve even got a pond with alligators on it. I would not suggest swimming in the pond. The dog park area is amazing
KOC Kampground is a hidden gem! Our site is an XXL and we love it. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the amenities make RV life so much nicer. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming—they truly go above and beyond to make sure you feel at home. It’s also a safe place, which makes it perfect for both short stays and long-term living. I love the sense of community here; neighbors look out for one another, and there’s always a friendly face around. Whether you’re passing through or planning to stay awhile, I can’t recommend KOC Kampground enough!
